The materials set off acetate against metal with innovative technology, understated decorative motifs and sophisticated details. Together, they define the new Prada eyewear.
Women's models offer classic lines and sinuously innovative frames enhanced by elegant angularities and the interplay of solid and empty spaces. For men, classic models are reinterpreted with an innovative, contemporary approach.
The colour palette has also had a makeover. Black, tortoiseshell, linen and camel are joined by bolder white, red and blue, as well as vibrant shades like petunia and begonia. |

Model VPR14G
For women, there's a gently geometrical acetate frame enhanced by the angularities on the front. The two-layer arms are in two different shades to create attractive colour contrasts. The logo on the arm is in metal.
Model VPR05F
For men, a classic rectangular model in acetate with a sophisticated keynote feature: an L-shaped metal finish at the hinge, incorporated into the plaque that carries the Prada logo.
Available in classic black, original streak-effect colours like grey and tortoiseshell, or brilliant new shades like bottle green+pistachio+grass, coral+ruby or ocean+cloud. |
SUN COLLECTION
Model SPR07G
This classic, harmoniously designed acetate model is brought to life by an inset metal decorative motif on the sides of the front. The colours range from black, with polished gold metal or matte black for a total black look, to classic tortoiseshell, amaranth and lighter shades, such as white, linen or petunia.
Model SPR14G
The broad, soft, wrap-around lines of SPR14G feature assertive angularities in the upper part of the frame. Equally impressive is the new metal plaque with the Prada logo, grading into an elusive arrow that fades halfway down the arm. The colours are classics like tortoiseshell, asphalt and camel, or self-assured black, white, red and blue.
Model SPR54G
The lightweight mask with its broad, wrap-around monolens is joined to the arms by a soft metal decorative motif. From it extends a plaque with the Prada logo. The two-colour arm flaunts colour contrasts in a wide range of options: black+white, blue+white, red+white, black+red, tortoiseshell+soya.
Model SPR61G
A revisitation of the classic 1950s Aviator model made even more face-hugging and sporty in a slightly squareish design. Distinctive features include the metal double bridge and eight-base lens curvature.
